The newest article about Rev. Jose Luis De Jesus Miranda (aka the second coming of Christ) starts off saying that "Christians lined up to get their 666 tattoos". Ummm...even if you don't believe, it's clear that "Christians" lining up to get 666 tattoos are clearly being duped.
The self proclaimed next coming of Christ - Jose Miranda was born in the 70's in Puerto Rico and is a former Heroin Addict. One of his lost followers explains his past - "It will sound strange to some people because what they're expecting is a man to come out of the sky with wings". Perhaps he is correct in that the next coming will not appear in the above fashion but I know for certain Jesus won't show up sporting track marks or wearing "flashy rings and Rolex watches" which is what Jose Miranda decorates himself with (via church goer contributions by the way).
I'm not criticizing these people, I honestly feel bad for them. They are clearly bing tricked by a con artist into doing something that will unfortunately have a negative impact on everything they do in their lives (and possibly afterward depending on your beliefs).
In regards to the artists willing to place a detrimental image on someone; I hope you don't need the $100 that bad. Regardless of your beliefs (including the standard tattooist decree of "not my place to lecture ones choice of art"), have the decency and professionalism not to scar your clients with something that has a high likelihood of hurting them every day for the rest of their lives.
